Facilitation – involves a neutral party, a People Works Consultant, to lead groups or meetings set up to address specific goals – this can include such processes as strategic planning sessions, team building, after action reviews, or focus groups. The role of the facilitator is to assist the group with meaningful dialogue and the facilitator should not be seen as the decision maker or group leader. A skilled facilitator can also assist a group work through polarization on issues and encourage participants to suspend judgment or assumptions to work toward productive outcomes.
