How Does The EAP Work?

How Does The EAP Work?
  • Services start with an assessment to get to know you and your presenting problem, and to help you create a plan for addressing your concerns.
  • Some concerns can be resolved at EAP with short-term assistance (between 1-5 visits depending on your organization's election).
  • If your situation would be best resolved outside EAP, our vast knowledge of the highest quality community resources will help point you in the right direction.
  • If an outside resource is needed, we will assist you in locating the most affordable services. Health insurance and your ability to pay will be considered.  EAP has no affiliation with referral sources; therefore, our only interest is to provide you with the most effective assistance at an affordable cost.
  • EAP provides follow-up management as needed to insure you are getting the assistance you require.
  • EAP can help you negotiate your way through the healthcare system, including assisting with insurance pre-certification and advocating for appropriate treatment.
  • EAP professionals are experts in working with personal and workplace issues. If you have job concerns, our knowledge of your workplace, and employment issues in general, can give you helpful information and a fresh perspective.
